“ It was my first time here and I must say, I was very surprised of how clean it was inside. I’ve never been to a restaurant so spotless. Don’t let the outside of the restaurant “fool” you! It looks old and dirty but once you walk in, you will instantly change your mind. And the food!!! Fresh, yummy, and delicious!!! The staff very friendly! I will definitely be back! “ WOW, when you walk into the space you will quickly be transformed to your elementary school cafeteria, from the chairs to the buffet style, it's a smack in the face in the best way possible. The first thing that hit me was the aroma of all the delicious options presented right in front of you. I had Catfish and my buddy had baked chicken. The Catfish was crispy, seasoned perfectly and even the tartar sauce was tasty. The. veggie options were perfect, something for everyone. I had cabbage and green beans. Both the lady behind the counter and the gentleman were quick on the drive thru window as they were with the line inside. Great job, don't change anything, especially the price!!! ”
“ I hadn’t been by since 2019 when I was still in high school and decided to try them out when I moved back to tow since I live right down the road now. I cannot express how this place is THE place for southern food. Everything was well season and had actual flavor, and cooked to perfection. Regardless of it being just an hour before close, the food tasted and felt fresh. The catfish is thin and crispy (my personal preference), the tartar sauce is amazing, and the rolls are soft and fluffy. My favorite part was the mashed potatoes, greatly seasoned with garlic and not pasty. The Mac and cheese is simple but creamy. I will be back at least once a week I’m sure, I need to try all the other menu items! ”
